Dr. Norris earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2002, then completed her residency at the Mayo Clinic Family Medicine Residency in Scottsdale, Arizona, in 2005.

She served as a staff physician at Arizona State University's Campus Health Services before joining a medical practice in Sunnyside, Washington, in 2006. In March 2012 she was appointed the founding Residency Program Director for the Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic, which oversees Sollus Northwest Family Medicine Residency.

She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Washington Academy of Family Physicians and the Washington Osteopathic Medical Association. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians.
