Angela Gonzalez, YVFWC Regional Operations Manager, has been appointed by the governor to serve on the Oregon Health Policy Board's Coordinated Care Organization Criteria Work Group.
Representative of various health care sectors and communities across Oregon are serving on one of four work groups. The groups were formed by legislation aimed at improving health and the quality of care while lowering costs for Oregon Health Plan members.
The work groups will meet between August and November. The information they gather will guide the formation of local Coordinated Care Organizations, which will be responsible for ensuring effective delivery of physical, mental and oral health services.
The group Angela is serving on consists of 44 members.
