Lee Hamilton, YVFWC's Quality and Planning Director, has been named president-elect of the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ). She is currently serving as secretary/treasurer on its board of directors and will assume the presidency in June 2013. Lee is an NAHQ Fellow and a Certified Professional in Health Care Quality (CPHQ).
Since 1976, the NAHQ has served as an essential and interactive resource for quality and patient safety professionals around the world. Nearly 10,000 members depend on the organization for education, research, networking, certification, and resources designed to ease and improve their daily work. NAHQ advocates for healthcare reforms that assure patient safety and improve clinical outcomes.
